Welcome! The ASWC is a non-profit organization comprised of women living in Aurora Shores who strive to uplift the neighborhood through friendships, wholesome activities, and community service.
A few examples of our community service include meal trains for residents facing adversity, adopting a family during the holiday season, and collecting donations for the homeless. Our newest project is the ASWC Scholarship Program, awarded twice a year, intended to provide support to deserving adults, aged 26+ who live in Aurora Shores and are working to achieve their career goals through higher education programs. adults seeking to enrich their lives through education.
We also host a few social activities in the community to bring our residents together for friendship and fun. These events consist of the 4th of July and the snow cone stand, Oktoberfest/Clambake, Breakfast with Santa, and more.
We aren’t all work and no play. We like spending time together too! We have a book club and organize outings once a quarter.
Join the ASWC! We always welcome new members and volunteers. If you’re interested in becoming a member, please join us at our next meeting. You’ll see our meeting and event invites on our Facebook Group under the “Events” tab.
We look forward to seeing you!
